This is what Shopit keeps about you, why, and how to have it removed.

What we keep

  • Your name, email address and phone number, and the delivery and billing addresses you give us.
  • Your orders: what you bought, prices, delivery and payment details. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
  • Reviews you write and products you save to your wishlist.
  • For trade accounts, the business details on your application and the account's balance and payments.
  • Whether you agreed to marketing emails, and when you accepted these terms.

Why

To take, deliver and support your orders, to run your account, to show reviews, to keep the records the law asks of a shop, and to protect the shop from fraud and abuse (the sign-in and sign-up forms are checked by a security service).

Who sees it

Our staff, and the companies that help us run the shop: payment, delivery, email and hosting providers, each only for its own part. We do not sell your details.

Cookies

We use the cookies the shop needs to work: keeping you signed in, your cart and security checks.

Deleting your account

Delete your account at any time from My details in your account. Your profile, addresses, reviews, wishlist and cart are removed straight away. Records of past orders are kept for as long as the law requires, without a link to your account.
